Christmas came early for me this year. A little over a week ago I got a new Nikon D70 and I'd like to take it out and put it to the test. It has the standard 18-70mm lens, plus a 70-300mm lens.

Is it legal to hunt with a camera only, in that area between Three points and Why here in Arizona?

Any restrictions as to no electronics or permits needed?

It depends in the caliber of the ballistic film you are using.

Tim, I wouldn't think that it would be a problem, but (there's always a 'but') according to A.R.S 17-303 "It is unlawful for any person.....to enter upon a game refuge or other area closed to hunting, trapping or fishing and "TAKE", drive or......"

A.R.S. 17-101 #18 defines "TAKE" means pursuing....."

Best bet; contact the local warden and have a chat with him, explaining what, when, & where you are intrested in. It's usually time well spent as the wardens can be a wealth of information.
