I inherited Dad's 22 mag Ruger Single-Six Revolver as of late. Bought a box of 33gr V-max for close quarter varmints. Anyone used this ammo on anything?

I have used it for quite awhile. Shot an armadillo that was tearing up the yard. Blew a 2 inch entrance hole in him and did not exit.
I have a Marlin model 783 that I bought in 1981. I took it to the range and shot it awhile back. Six shots at 50 yards and 5 of them touching. Six shots at 100 yards you could cover with a quarter. Shot 1 inch high at 50 and 1/2 inch low at 100. I like 'em.

Took my Ruger .22mag Revolver to the range today. Never was a pistol guy. But managed some decent groups.

4" groups off of a bench & pistol rest @ 25yrds.
3" groups free single hand @ 25'.

Gonna try some Black box Winchester, see if I can tighten'em, up some.

Ruger handguns are noted for accuracy...I have owned several and many other makes...Rugers were always my most accurate...My favorite,is my 357 mag...My carry gun is a 38 smith, small frame...(lighter and easier to carry)not a bad shooter either.
