Mineral Wells Predator Calling Contest
Registration: Friday – February 18, 2005 from 7 to 8pm.
Check In: Saturday – February 19, 2005 from 11:30am – 12pm.
(If you are one second late you will be disqualified.)
Location: HMW Fabrication (Fort Wolters Industrial Park).
Directions: 1821 north to Ellis White road. Take Ellis White road to the T and then turn left onto Grant. On Grant the road will curve to the right. Take first left onto Picket Road. Go approximately ½ mile to Taylor Street. Turn right on Taylor Street and go approximately ¼ mile to HMW Fabrication. There will be signs posted.
Rules:
No more than 4 members per team.
All team members MUST be present at sign in.
All teams will depart from HMW Fabrication at 8pm on Feb. 18th.
All teams MUST check in by 12pm on Feb. 19th. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Teams must hunt and commute from ONE vehicle.
Trailing a calling vehicle will be allowed.
All team members must stay together at all times.
All applicable state laws must be followed at all times.
Consumption of Alcohol during contest hours is not allowed.
Any Protest must be stated before 12pm on Feb. 19th
Frozen animals will NOT be allowed.
No Pooling of animals.
Heaviest Animal regardless of species breaks any ties.
Clock at Shop will be the official clock. If you’re late by 1 second you’re disqualified.
All prize winners are subject to Polygraph.
Judges make final ruling on ANY disputes.
Entry Fees:$100 per team for Jackpot. (100% payout)
1st Place receives 80 %
2nd Place receives 20 %
Coyotes: 32pts
Bobcat: 23pts
Fox: 11pts
Mt. Lion: 100pts
Heavy Animal Pot (optional): $10 per category (fox, bobcat and coyote categories)
