When sitting on a coyote stand is it possible for a bobcat to come in with all of the howling and puppy distress sounds going on? I guess anything is possible, what is the probability of a cat coming in?

Yes, it's possible. Dependant on your location. Dependant on your sounds. If you use nothing but coyote vocalizations, your chances are not very good on calling cats. However, if a cat happens to be in close proximity, he will probably be curious enough to have a "look see".

This is based on assumptions, I don't recall ever making a stand in cat areas and using coyote howls, exclusively?

Good hunting. LB

Hi Jim, welcome. Glad you made it. I begin most stands with howls then usually go to distress. Bobcats and fox both will come to the distress, although they do come in more cautiously after hearing the howls.
