Those are incredible, rainshadow. Soooo tempting to give you some work to do.

Thanks guys!
I know this is a more practical, Coyote killin' board, but sometimes I get so tickled with how a project comes out that I just gotta show it off!

LOL My thoughts exactly. I never even wanted another knife or howler. Yet, I would be superbly honored to own those those.
How could you not be super proud of those? How could you let them go? Those are family heirlooms man or gifts to family - something really speacial like that! Like two-tails said, "works of art" man. Gorgeous! ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

table top lighting for rainbow, uhh, moonshadow, err, rainman, ahhh whatever
I think your pictures are really nice. Especially the very last one.
My wife is really getting into photography and she has found this guy to be incredibly helpful regarding lighting. As if learning to use the high-end camera were not difficult enough with all the fifty million gadgets and functions. He has a series of 26 episodes for free that are proffessional quality instructionals. I think they are very helpful.
Again Steve, WOW!!! I bet your wifeey is really proud of you, kids, someone. Heck, I'm proud of you. I went to your gallery and saw all of the knifes you've made. They are really really great!
Steve, this one is probably even more applicable - enjoy! [ October 13, 2008, 08:54 PM: Message edited by: Locohead ]

Good stuff, Loco. Thanks. Often forget to think about that kind of stuff. Digital is nice, "delete!" and try again...
I've held a piece of white paper in the tent on all 4 of those pics to bounce off the blade.
Problem is I have at least one flat, and several rounded surfaces that are all reflective, to deal with at the same time! Not to mention, the the edge geometry of the blade makes for two sweeping flat surfaces..... it's never ending!

WOW! I just saw this. Steve, that is the most beautiful howler I have ever seen. It is in a category by itself. Absolutely incredible. The photography is way beyond my understanding also. Kudos, congratulations, props, calotowas, et al for creating true works of art.
