Cat Hunter, This has been a hot topic over at PM too. I haven't had any problems, but I do occasionally have to "massage" the buttons to get it to work. Obviously check and change the battery, Mine works best with a fresh battery especially when it's cold. I have used mine on several days when it was about 0. Keep it warm between stands (I'm sure you can be inventive here). If you still have problems, contact Mike Dillon. Thats the best I can do.

Thanks guys. I went to PM. Lot of stuff on Foxpro. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who has problums. I've been ready the mail here for awhile before I decided to join in. I have learned alot from all you guys. Keep up the good work.

It's the cold temps that are sucking the life out or your batteries.Keep the transmitter in a pocket next to your body between stands to keep the battery warm. The best solution is a lithium battery which is made for cold temps and will outlast a normal battery. Can find them at camera shops etc.

You might also try some of those small disposable heat packs, put a couple in the bag with your caller, or if they fit, in the battery compartment.

This helped many other's with cold digital equipment.
