Have no dealings with natgear,but I own a couple suits from Down Wind 3D Camouflage.Closest to being invisable.I've had many standing dogs searching for that critter in distress, actually rush me when making the move to shoot.A little pricey, but very worth it.They are on the internet,do a search for the above brand.

Ive used it for the last three years, good stuff in my opinion. Im by no means a camo snob, just about any camo is fine. Im not fond of the 3-D stuff, merely because of the part of the world I live in. Here in the Az desert, EVERYTHING, has thorns, or hooks, or stickers. Trees, shrubs, brush, cockleburrs,and even fences. The 3-D stuff out here, is like wearing velcro:), you'll snag, catch, and hang up on everything imaginable, leaving your 3-D suit in tatters. It is amazing stuff when it comes to blending in with surroundings, but just to much of a pain in the ass to me.
The Nat-Gear has good coloration, light sand color with the usual shapes and blobs. To me it blends far better than the darker camos do. The farther away you get, the more one just melts into the background.

I like it. The only reason is that it was on sale at the end of hunting season a few years ago and I got a good deal on it. 8 or 10 years ago there was some grey-bark stuff that was on sale at the end of the season and so I bought that. Used it and liked it too. 15 or so years ago there was some Mossy Oak something or another that they put on sale and so I bought that too. I liked it too. Cant wait to see what this years trend is. Maybe it will be the Mossy Oak stuff coming around full circle again. I do get tired of the same old stuff I have to use everyday. As soon as they put it on sale I will buy it, I guess. I think good camo was made to attract hunters more than anything. I can take it or leave it. If you feel more confident using it, then do so. If you move around too much a lion or bobcat is going to spot you, so camo wont help you anyway.

I have to agree that a guy will do far better sitting still in blue jeans and a white tee shirt than a guy moving around on stand with the most popular camo.
That said, I do like using camo and have been using Natgear the last couple years. For my area it blends into almost all the terrain I hunt well. It seems to blend better than the darker camo patterns.

I know I've said this before but I really believe camo is overrated and not really needed.I have use an old faded carhart jacket and pants for years and have no problem calling coyotes close.As has been mentioned I to am a firm believer that movement is the key,to success or failure when calling.If a guy wants to go out and buy the latest greatest camo that's his choice, but for me I can think of alot more important things to spend my money on other than camo. ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Sometimes I think that the older I get, the less I believe in camo.
I still use it, and if I go out for the specific purpose of hunting, I always wear it.
But I made two stands Saturday morning, and two stands on Sunday morning. Wearing a red flannel shirt, brand new jeans and a black cowboy hat with a sterling silver hatband. I called in one coyote on the first stand of each day. None on the second stand. Saturday I took the coyote standing broadside at 75 yards. Sunday I took him at 30' and he was still coming to me.
But then this morning, I missed two coyotes, both inside of fifty yards. Piece of shit Simmons scope decided to reset the zero about 18" to the left at fifty yards. Can I blame it on the camo shirt I wore this morning?

the only place around here that i can remember that ever carried the stuff was K-mart and a small selection at that. course now those days are over. haven't seen it in cabelas or even bass pro. any ideas whose carrying it these days??
