Condition Worsens for Mountain Lion Victim AP SAN FRANCISCO (Jan. 29) - A Northern California hiker attacked by a mountain lion last week was airlifted to a San Francisco hospital, where he will likely undergo more surgery.

I have been complaining about our Fish and Game policies regarding lions for years. I don't know what it will take to make the public wake up? We need to hunt lions and put the fear of man back in them where it belongs, not be viewed as bait.
So, the question I have is this: Imagine you are ambushed by a lion. What would you do now?
Too many people never consider the possibility, certainly not the elderly hiker taking a leasurely stroll through the Park. Some attitudes need to change. It is hard for me to understand the collective mindset, people are thinking more like sheep, every day!
Good hunting. LB

I'd probably Shit my pants.
Then fight back with every fiber in my body.
I was attacked yesterday morning, by a Chihuahua, and in the afternoon by a nesting grey goose. I fared OK with them, but I don't want to try my luck with a big cat.
I'm with you, predators need to learn to be afraid to approach man, and the best way to do that is to hunt them.
