a little bit off topic here Cal but it looks like you might of sent in your rifle to have it coated after you looked at my partner, Nick's rifle at St. Francis. Cool looking country by the way.

Must be John Anderson on the left, cause it sure looks like Sammy Hagar on the right.
Where'd you find those two?

Jeremy, Good to see you around! But no its not coated, just the same old el cheapo spray paint.
You guys are pretty good, that is John Anderson, and he is a coyote hunting addict like the rest of us. He was doing a concert in Casper and is good friends with the BassPro folks and Murphy Love, and they set up a little coyote hunt. The band went fishing, but he wanted to hunt. That tells me alot about the guy right there. Anyway, we had a great time and killed a couple of coyotes, and he is as nice of guy as you would ever want to meet. Just as common as dirt. Even cusses like a sailor when he misses a coyote.
And Tim... Nasa??? [ August 29, 2006, 06:35 AM: Message edited by: Cal Taylor ]

Cal actually called me yesterday and put John Anderson on the phone. He told me Cal did his job but he didn't do his. I think he was worried about shooting one of Cal's dogs
I made the mistake of asking him when he was going to play Oklahoma and he told me he was here two weeks ago. Felt pretty stupid after that.

John Anderson is a CW singer who was born and raised in central FL, near Orlando. Heck, one of his first hits was, "Black Sheep"! Send him an invite to the campout. He'll be right at home.

I would have never Thought that Sammy Hagar and John Anderson looked that much alike.
I'm a Hagar fan; one of the best live entertainers to ever take the stage, must be seen to be appreciated, though I for the life of me couldn't see the guy sitting still for more than about 5 seconds on a coyote stand.
Neat gig, Cal. It is kind of amazing how many people turn out to be ...... people ..... when met in person. [ August 29, 2006, 02:48 PM: Message edited by: JoeF ]

Leonard, I think his biggest hit was "Seminole Wind". But he had a few others. He was pretty big in the 80's and 90's mostly. Hasn't done much but hunt for a few years he tells me. But I guess he has a new album coming out soon. I guess Willie Nelson and some others are also on it. What kind of music do you listen to?

I like CW, but I hardly ever listen to it, unless it's upbeat. I hate most current types of popular music, I'm stuck in the 60s, time warp, some 70 stuff, Beach Boys, Beatles, Stones, etc. Willie's good. Hank Williams Jr. I like Mickey Gilley.

Very cool Cal. Do you get to take celebs very often?
I like the 60s-80s country as well. Same with rock. Seems that music lost its way sometime in the early 90s? I dont have a clue what this crap is they play nowdays. Its not country, its not rock, I dont know what the hell to call it. ![[Confused]](confused.gif)

Andy Andy Andy..... I'm the celeb, and sometimes they get to hunt with me!
Just kidding! But I guess I've taken a few famous people hunting. Mostly on big game stuff, but some for coyotes. Some are really good guys and some are morons, same as the rest of us. I've taken quite a few of the TV hunting show guys, but don't consider most of them as being celebrities, although some think they are.

Sorry Cal, I stand corrected. LOL
I know what you mean about the TV guys. I posted it before, I have had the chance to guide a couple for bass fishing for their shows. Im not going to do it. They fell into the moron catagory, IMO. Im sure they arent all like that, but these were.
Come on Cal, give us the whos, who list....
