A Campbell County, Wyoming's Cowboy's wife came home just in time to find her husband in bed with another woman. With super-human strength, born of fury and cutting calves, she dragged him down the stairs, out the back door, and into the tool shed out back of the barn. She put his tally-whacker in a vice, and then secured it tightly and removed the handle.

Next she picked up an old carpenter's saw. The banged up cowboy was terrified, and hollered, "Stop! Stop! You're not going to cut it off with that rusty damn saw are you?"

The wife, with a gleam of revenge in her eye, put the saw in her husband's hand and said, "Nope. I'm going to set this old shed on fire, and go to town for a cold beer. You do whatever you want."

That would be the result Andy, I'm sure enough of that to be mindful of not getting myself in that particular situation.

There is a rancher here that is known for his screaming cussing fits. No one is off limits in his mind. Apparantly one day, his wife and son were helping him run some small calves through the chute for whatever reason. The rancher was in the alley pushing the calves and keeping them from turning around. Of course, he was true to form and had plenty of commentary toward his wife and son on how they were not doing anything right. As he pushed the last calf out the chute, the wife shut the hydrolic head gate and back gate and squeezed the sides. She then turned off the motor leaving her husband in the chute. She told her son, if he wanted supper, he better come to the house now.
This story was told to me by the son. He said it took his dad 30 minutes or better to get out, and when he made it to the house, he never said a word for 2 days. Not as drastic as a rusty saw, but funnier than hell to me none the less.

I was fighting bulls one year for a stock contractor here in missouri that would just as soon cuss you as look at you. One rodeo this bull got him down in the arena because he always hot shotted them outside the gate instead of in. Well anyway this bull got him down and hooked him and then i jumped on top of him to keep him from getting any worse beins he was down for good. Boy did i get cussed for layin on top of him and getting my ass hgooked off for him...I loved that ol man. Bud Mayberry was a good friend in the end. But man was he a dickhead...

Strangely touching, on one hand, and funnier than hell on the other. [Big Grin]

Steve, Dave is my second cousin. He was probably one of the best in the state for a long time. Had a problem with the bottle or he would sure have been. I team roped with him some, but I couldnt hold a candle to him. If you could keep him sober and where he didnt have to rope in the slack, where he had time to get to drinkin, he was tough to beat.

There was another boy I kinda grew up around, Jimmy Dale Aurther, that rode bulls.
