I only got a half-inch of rain at my house. Actually, I was in my shop on the phone with Q when it all went thru and didn't even know it had rained until I got back upstairs. All the bad stuff passed well south of me. Thanks for asking.
Check out this picture I found of one that hit Mulvane near Wichita last evening. On one hand, the beauty of a rainbow, contrasted with the rage of a tornado. These storms are scary as hell when they get raging, but beautiful in a weird sort of way. I 'bout got my oops kicked last year chasing two different storms. Now, my wife won't let me out the door when the skies turn dark.

I've only had two near my house. One was about five miles out and was visible from my front yard, but we weren't home. I watched the second one drop down about six blocks west of my house for about a second and go back up. Just long enough to take out a couple shelter houses in one of our parks. -------------------- I am only one. But still, I am one. I cannot do everything, but still, I can do something; and, because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do something that I can do.
