For those of you who have created your own web sites. What editing programs can you recommend? Don't bother telling me about FrontPage, it's been discontinued.
I'd like something in the WYSIWYG format, that also will allow me to do pure HTML editing as well.
I've been using Trillian for the past week, and it seems to be good, but I've hit enough bumps, and lost enough finished pages, that I'd like to give something else a try.
Edit: Freeware is a definite bonus with me at the moment! [ August 30, 2007, 07:31 PM: Message edited by: Tim Behle ]

See that little fella standing next to a house in the top center of the page? That's the Authors Homepage button and will take you to the mess that I have created so far.
I amazed at how much has changed in the last 10 years since I created my last website.
And it beats me where some of those lost pages went, Somedays I think my FTP server is nothing more than an old stoner with a computer!

I saw this last week Tim, but you said that you didn’t want to hear about Front Page. That is the only thing that I have any experience with at all. However, when my hard drive crashed I lost my copy. I’m considering Dream Weaver, but given the cost and my free time limitations I haven’t jumped yet.
I wouldn’t call that a mess. I like the picture of the coyote peeking around and through the bush. Finding coyote artwork is not easy and what is called coyote by many looks more like wolves to me.
