I'm just riding it out. Values here on Denver's SE side haven't dropped too much. But then, I couldn't sell if I wanted too.
I have more important things to worry about, like why I can't get my new 17FB to shoot.

Property tax? Yeah, it seems to lag way behind in a depreciating market, but I'd be embarassed to complain since I'm locked in at 1975 assessments due to Prop. 13. We bought this house over 32 years ago. And, it is kind of a sore point with a few of the newer neighbors. Nope, can't bitch too loud about that.
Actually, that is a strong reason to just stay put, I'll never see a better deal than what I have. But, at my age, saving tax dollars is not all a man lives for....ya know?
Good hunting. LB

Steve Criner, I am in Gillette, WY. The "boom" here is insanity at it's finest.

I remeber last year they were having Job Fairs around here, looking to hire and relocate people out to Wyoming. Some big bucks involved. I asked my wife if I should look into it. She looked at me and asked, "What in the hell is in Wyoming?" I told her that there used to be just a bunch of cowboys, Mustangs and mountains. Now they have mountains of money, fake billionaire cowboys and the Mustangs have been replaced with Arabian Stallions. [ March 16, 2008, 08:50 AM: Message edited by: smithers ]

I don't know where that map came from but it has a problem with facts.

Hey Jack!
Did they draw the borders wrong, or color outside the lines, or what? I can't stand the suspense! Should California be blue, instead? .....that's probably it?
