Hey Higgins, back at you and the clan Higgins. And to all my calling family here at HM. What the hell... Merry Christmas, Bill!!!

I got the only thing I asked for, other than to see my family safe and happy again this year.. Small and conservative - a 16-inch stuffed Wile E. Coyote to perch above my computer in my new office in my new house, should we ever move. Will look pretty cool there amongst howling dogs and Coyote Ugly posters. [Smile]

Yeah, Merry Christmas everybody! Sorry I missed your call last night, Rich. Lance, I didn't know you and Bill had buried the hatchet?

Tom, get back to work before you get in trouble, again!

I'm off to Banning.

Good hunting. LB

PS, with the crowd that will be assembling in St Francis, I think we deserve a detailed report, and a few pics?

A Merry Christmas to all.

Santa brought me a big agressive male Squirrel in my trap by the bird feeder this morning. When I went to dispatch him he started barking his warning bark. I covered him up and rushed off to the office to get mt recording gear.

After I came home I was in the kitchen and my son called me over to the window by the sink. A second trap was about to catch another smaller Squirrel. We watched as the door slammed. I set the second trap by the first with both being covered.

After our traditional Christmas Brunch, I was ready to record the big male. I could not get a sound out of him. The Chihuahua could not even get him riled up.....until I uncovered the younger one and the dog started growling. That set the big one off into a 15 minute rendition of warning barks. I recorded him with two different microphones at several gain settings. I even moved him to a different location for a different presence to the sound.

I will try again after a bit, with the cat this time. They usually scold the cat real bad, so maybe I will get even more good agressive warnings from the big male....maybe they will both be barking. That would be a great Christmas present.

Mery Christmas from Texas to all.

Gerald,

Tractor Supply usually has a clearance sale around this time of year. Last year they had electric fence chargers on the list. Not sure how this would pertain to your post, but thought I would just mention it.

Happy new Year.

Byron,

Watch out for those cattle prods that TSC ***** . They already have the batteries in them while they are sitting on the shelf.

It's been almost 10 years, and Joyce still won't forgive me for discovering that.

You should have heard her scream when I zapped her!

Merry Christmas everyone!

I had one of those at my other home. It killed them dead. I just needed a warning bark and got that without even taking him out of the cage. The second squirrel would not cooperate nor the first on the second try. Remember what I said about the time window.

Merry Christmas again....and to all a good day.
