Jeff and I wanted to show you some pics and share some stories from our last West Texas adventure. We had a great hunt even though the wind and rain tried to keep us indoors. We arrived on Thursday about 6pm and set up our rig. We met up with skeet had some supper and started hunting about 8:30pm. The first stand produced a coyote shot with the 10 gauge at 40 steps, and the night just got better. We proceeded into some great coyote country and called in numerous dogs, including a double and a triple. We had a great night the first night and ended up with 9 coyotes and stopped hunting about 1:30am. We figured we had 3 days left to hunt and we needed our rest.
The next 2 days we managed 9 more coyotes and a fox. We were hunting under high winds and a constant threat of rain, which it did often. We ended up coming home a day early, we were tired of fighting the wind and rain plus we already had some great footage for volume II. We are heading out for hunts in Jan and Feb, that is unless someone books a hunt before then. We are running a special right now on group rates and knocking off $100 dollars a day. This brings the price to $250 per day a person and that includes your lodging and food. A 3 day hunt is the best way to go and group hunts are welcome. We can handle up to 4-5 hunters at one time in several different hunting rigs with 1 million acres to hunt. This one was an awesome call. He answered to a challenge howl and skeet and him talked back and forth for a few minutes. He was pretty mad at the new coyote in his territory. A few minutes later here he came to check out the new guy. He came on a string to about 20 yards and was introduced to the 10 gauge.
This coyote tried to use the brush to his advantage to sneak into the call. Apparatly his buddies never told him a 10 gauge can shoot through light brush. There was a nice hole in the brush after the shot.
This coyote was part of a double we called in during the day. I sat out in front of the camera about 40 yards and called with an electronic caller. he came after about 2 minutes of calling and stopped at 40 yards. He is looking at me in the picture and I am about to shoot. We got right back on the call and #2 came after about 30 seconds right to me. We had 4 coyotes in all respond on this call and it was pretty exciting.
You can tell by this coyotes body language he is not going to stick around long. Ah the one that got away. There were still alot of leaves on the trees and a few snuck in on us. Out of 18 predators jeff and I had a miss a piece, Oh well we needed some bloopers too.
Here is a pic on Jeff, Skeet and Myself. In all we took 18 coyotes and 1 fox, and that was in bad weather conditions. Cant wait to get some new faces on the video and let them have the hunt of a lifetime. Sorry I was so longwinded, I had alot to say about this hunt. Hope you enjoy. Todd Woodall

Q, Yeah we tear them up pretty bad out west, but that is an everyday occurance for a guy like yourself.
varmit hunter, We hunt land west of Odessa, We have access to alot of land scattered throughout several different counties. Plenty of dogs and plenty of fun. Todd Woodall

Well, I'll tell you one thing. The above pics give as good an example of what a coyote looks like, at night, as I have ever seen. I'm impressed.
If this video that you guys have available, is as good as the preview and these snapshots of the action, then I think you have a very good product, and anybody interested in this type of hunting should seriously consider getting a copy.

Hey Guys, Todd forgot to mention that if you can round up a group of 4 or more, we will be able to tag along and video the hunts. This means that you will be on Vol. 2, and be able to experience some of the best predator hunting available. The company may not be worth a flip, but at least you can say you were in hunting video!
