Thanks Leonard for the welcome. The 35mph wind finally died during the night. I was up early and out. Howled 2 in and shot a big male at 218 steps and then smaller female ran across at 117 steps and nailed her. Only wounded the male and followed blood until I jumped him out of a fallen treetop and finished the job. I wanted him for a picture of my 1st double on coyotes. I was pretty wound up over that. The dairy farmer I was hunting on was pretty dang happy as well. Wife thought I was crazy going out in 8 degree weather. No pain no gain....right? See you guys later. Happy hunting!!

The "Baldknobbers" were a group of vigililantes after the civil war. Guess they still are.
