Last season, many of you expressed your delight in the special edition Predator Hunting magazine published by F&W Publishing, publishers of Trapper & Predator Caller magazine.

That issue was an overwhelming success, so much so that F&W is publishing not one, but two issues this season. And, the Fall issue just came off the presses!

If you couldn't find it last year, chances are you'll face the same challenges this year. But, you can get your own copy by calling Trapper & Predator Caller at their toll-free number...

1-800-258-0929

where you can get your own copy for the same price as on the newsstand, $6 plus postage.

A second edition will be distributed later this winter, aptly called the Winter Issue, so keep checking back here for information on its release.

Now for the good news. If there is enough interest in these two issues, it's possible that Predator Hunting could become a 4-issue subscription based magazine devoted solely and exclusively to calling nature's perfect prey - predators - starting in '06.

Get your copy now!

Good deal, Lance. If Varmint Hunter Magazine can do it, why can't you?

Good hunting. LB

Super Lance looking forward to it. I'll keep my eyes open at the local trash-mart.

I am looking forward to seeing the new copy. The last one was really good.

According to Paul Wait, this will be a very, as in VERY, good issue, with articles by people like our own Gerald Stewart, Gerry Blair, myself (man, have I found myself amidst good company) and a real must-read by none other than Jay Nistetter about coyote body language.

As I have eluded to in the past, F&W's (Krause's new owner) distribution grid is primarily in the Midwest extending east, with little to speak of out west in true coyote country. That's why a lot of these haven't been distributed out west. It isn't that they haven't tried to get out there. It just hasn't been real fruitful, yet. This is why they hope to go to a 4-issue subscripiton, assuming that there will be enough interest with these two issues.

That's where you guys come in. Pass along the top post to all you cyber hunting buddies. Let them know that they can get a copy by calling that toll-free number. The only extra they'll pay is for postage, and quite frankly, with the price of gas today, the postage has to be less than the cost of gas to get most of you to china-mart. LOL I tried unsuccessfully to post this announcement at PM - where buttloads of members have inquired as to availability of last year's issue and any upcoming issues - but they miscontrued my post as advertising for personal gain and whacked it. So, I need your help to pass the word along.

As for me, I've already read what I wrote. I'm really anxious to see what those other three put in there, as well as all the other contributors.
Best part... I get my advance copy this week!!! [Razz] [Razz] [Razz]

I guess I have to call for mine. I was at the gun shop where they usually carry TPC and they did not have any in.

Hey Lance I posted it over on PM. It should be OK since I have nothing to do with the publication.

Lance. I called the number you posted. Customer service had never heard of it. Got hold of Paul. He said it is not due to ship until the 15th. He talked to customer service and they are taking orders at that number now.

Two thoughts..

First, the left hand now knows what the right hand is doing. LOL Thanks for setting them straight.

Second, that oughtta tell the higher ups something when they're getting orders before it is even released. Big thanks on that.

I'm looking at a copy right now as I type. All I can say is WOW!!! This is a good read.

I tried to order a copy this morning and they couldn't take my order yet. I was told to try back in a couple of weeks.

Lonny,

Sorry to hear about that. I'll be sure to bump this back to the top on the 15th just as a reminder to those that want to order copies. On the other hand, like I posted earlier, it says a lot for the reception of the publication. Thanks for all you guys' support.

-Lance
