Nice looking Red, Tim. I thought Randy Buker killed off all the red fox in Minnesota? And, why the green grass so late in the season?
Good hunting. LB

Tim, that is a beautiful fox. We don't get to see them down here. I know you're not surprised that one of your coyotes didn't come in after you fired your rifle. Keep after them with lowkey vocalizations. [ November 19, 2006, 07:40 AM: Message edited by: Rich Higgins ]

Good Job on the Red, Midwest Reds have never been an easy call for me.
Deer season probably is a tough time to call up there. Went to the Vikes- Packers game last Sunday and it looked like there was orange in damn near every tree!

Nice Fox Tim!
Calling a fox in the daylight when you have coyotes in the area, always seemed extremely difficult.

Tim, This country used to be covered with both Red and Gray Fox. I always had my best luck on Grays at night. The best luck I ever had on Reds was right at daylight and betwen 2:00 and 3:00 in the afternoon. [ November 21, 2006, 04:03 PM: Message edited by: varmit hunter ]

We have some nice red fox here in Iowa. If I see one running really fast, I figure it to be an Iowa Swift fox.
