We've been in a real deep freeze here in Northern Mt. for the past 10 days or so, the Coyotes have been holed up and not moving very much, well they either starved out or it warmed up enopugh to get them moving, it got up to near zero today so I'm on the move too. Rifle is a Browning Varmint Stalker in 204 shooting 35 grain bergers, caller used was Minaska M1 Bandit worked well

Oh my, that middle one would look good tanned!!

Nice job!

Looks like you had a little work to do in the second pic. A guy always has two choices in those deals, go in slowly and back up if it get tough, or give her hell and hope you get thru and if not a guy can sure get buried!!

RR...I have a new philosophy concerning 4 wheel drive. I leave it in 2 wheel until I start spinning. Then I put it in 4 wheel, turn around, and get the hell out of there.

Good hunting. LB

Yep, I got tired of using the hi-lift jack and digging my way out, now I use 4wd to get out before I get in too deep. Don't know if it makes me wiser or just lazy but either way I don't care.

Good looking coyotes.

The snow isn;t packed in real hard yet so the "give it hell" methods works so so anyway,
Dose anybody know the difference between a 2 wheel Drive and a 4 x 4,

Nice pale for sure. As far as the predicurment that you got into, my decision to "give'er hell" would require my knowledge of another 4x4 being at my disposal. No other 4x4 close by, I'd tuck my tail, turn around, and head the other direction.

Kinda late on this one howler, but I would recommend the heavier type mud, or ice chains on the front end they have got me through deeper shit than that. But I'm going to have to get some more, since some piss ignorant stole mine out of my pickup.

By the way those are some pretty coyotes! May I recommend an ideal caliber...LOL

Beautiful yotes, Howler. Nothing like those Montana pales. Glad you had your shovel.

Well, far as that goes, with this Titan, I have been using cables. Well, only one time, but I was plowing snow higher than the front bumper and the horsepower comes in handy. But, I sure don't like digging myself out of anything, sand, mud or snow. Snow that has melted and refroze is another challenge, on grades. I always think: do I really need to go here? And, the answer is invariably; no!

Good hunting. LB
