Predator Down Inc. Coyote Calling Contest
First annual Predator Down Coyote Calling Contest. February20th in Sallisaw Oklahoma.
Entry fee is $100.00 per two man teams must be paid by February 13th. Must attend mandatory meeting February 19th at the Village sporting goods store on hwy 59 south in Sallisaw ,OK. . Teams will get there packet at the meeting. Big dog and little dog pots $20.00 per team.
Will pay first , second and third place. Big and little dog pay 100% to winners. Ties will go to team that checks in first. Must be checked in by 6:30 on Saturday at the Village sporting goods store.
Rules:
1) Each team member could be required to submit to a polygraph test and abide by the results.
2) No night hunting will be allowed. Hunting hours are sun up to sun down.
3)No hunting within ¼ mile from any house.
4)No shooting from a motorized vehicle (including 4-wheelers). No shooting from or across any maintained roadway or water way.
5)All types of calls allowed. No live decoys.
6)Team members must stay within 200 yards of each other on every stand and must travel in same vehicle. May use two different 4-wheelers as long as they are no further than 200 yards apart at all times.
7)All teams must check in no later than 6:30 Saturday, February 20th. Official time will be given at meeting Friday, February 19th. LATE CHECK INS ARE DISQUALIFIED…..
8)All coyotes must be brought in whole
9)All coyotes must be called and shoot by either team member. No trapped, road kill, poisoned, pen raised, snared or any other means that deviate from calling and shooting a coyote from a stand with firearm.
10)Absolutely no shooting from vehicles or 4-wheelers or spotting from vehicles or 4-wheelers and stopping to shoot or attempt to shoot said coyote.
11) In event of questionable coyote or method of harvest, further examination will be done by judging committee. DECISIONS ARE FINAL
12)Coyotes that are disqualified will result in that team being disqualified
13)Chief judge will settle all disputes. DECISIONS ARE FINAL
14)All firearms must be unloaded while at check in, you may be asked to show your firearms at check in.
15)No firearm that holds more than State regulations allowed in contest.
16)Teams must know the hunting regulations in the area they are hunting. Any team that receives a citation while hunting will be disqualified. KNOW THE RULES AND STATE HUNTING REGULATIONS.
17)Each team member must sign a liability release form at meeting on Friday the 19th .
18)All ties will be broken by which team checks in first.
19)If coyote is not tagged properly when it is checked in that coyote will be disqualified.
All coyotes checked in will become the property of the contest.
