Folks, the GOP, now fully awake, has a golden opportunity coming up in two short years. Its pretty appearant that the newly elected "conservative democrats" are going full speed ahead with impeachment hearings, pulling out of Iraq and raising taxes. Isnt that a surprise.
Two years from now, I fully expect the moderates that seem to dominate at the moment to be tired of them and ready for a real change in the right direction. Rudy and McCain, so far, are the only ones with a hat in the ring and both are RINO. No friend of the right and no friend of the 2nd Ammendment. I can only hope the GOP can come up with something better by then. Sad thing is, some of the good ones either have too many skeletons or got beat this time around.
Anybody got any suggestions or ideas on good candidates? LB, you wanted me to run a while back, reckon we can put that together? I will push the conservative agenda, you can bank on that. [ November 14, 2006, 08:18 AM: Message edited by: Andy L ]

Yeah, I like it; Andy (nuke 'em) with Jeb Bush as VP.
Got a chance against anybody but Hillary. Maybe you and the Dog, as running mate? Are those jugs real, or what?
I hope you can take criticism? The Republican candidate automatically is labeled as stupid. Do you pay taxes on your Nanny?
Any chance of an endorsement from John Henry? That would really look good on your resume'. You need an exploratory committee. Volunteers, anybody? LB

I like your list Andy. You might consider adding San Fransisco and New York. Place L.A. on probation.

Andy, you got my vote if you promise that as soon as your through melting half the globe you`ll do something about these gawdammned entitlement programs, I`m tired of rewarding the lazy.
Speaking of Dipocrats, I got a kick out of this............................................................
An ****** walks into a cafe with a shotgun
in one hand pulling a male buffalo with the other.
He says to the waiter:
"Want coffee."
The waiter says, "Sure, Chief. Coming right up."
He gets the ****** a tall mug of coffee.
The ****** drinks the coffee down in one gulp,
turns and blasts the buffalo with the shotgun,
causing parts of the animal to splatter everywhere
and then just walks out.
The next morning the ****** returns.
He has his shotgun in one hand, pulling
another male buffalo with the other.
He walks up to the counter and says to
the waiter
"Want coffee."
The waiter says "Whoa, buddy!
We're still cleaning up your mess from yesterday.
What was all that about, anyway?"
The ****** smiles and proudly says ..
"Training for position in United States Congress:
Come in, drink coffee, shoot the bull,
leave mess for others to clean up,
disappear for rest of day."

haha.
Free advice: If you want to write the common word for "native American" on this board; (because of a bug in the program).....
you have to write: _ndian, and use the numeral "1" for the first "I"
(1ndian)
I have tried and tried to fix the problem, but no luck!
Good hunting. LB

The asteriks add a little something to the joke, besides everybody would wonder what a "one-ndian"(1ndian) is. [ November 14, 2006, 07:30 PM: Message edited by: JD ]

Rush Limbaugh won't take the pay cut, Andy. Too bad.
Also, I say give California to the Israelis and let the ragheads have that land back. (Sorry Leonard). That way, it fixes their problem, as well as ours.
It's going to be a rough couple of years.
