Yotecaller, Cdog is trying to teach me how to post photos, but I'm a little shy of that point right now. Sorry. If you do a search on the PM board you should bring up quite a few photos. Rich

Rich, If it makes you feel any better, it took me six tries to get it to post. Blind leading the blind. ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Cdog, I see why you keep yours under a protective cover. I knew they were nice from the testimonials but words can’t do those howlers justice.
Nice work Rich.

Rich, Would you post a picture of your first howler?

Jay, I'll post it when I get the gremlins shook off the process. Cdog, I remember those howlers. The one on the left is Leonard's, and the other two are a matched set of Texas Longhorns that went to you and to White Mtn Cur.

Rich: Those are some great looking howlers they are works of art. Only thing wrong with calls made so grand is; Who would ever take them out on a hunting trip? If I ever get to have something as beautiful as those it would have to go up on the wall just to be looked at.
Outstanding work MR Higgins!!!!

Mine has a sunburst, on the bottom, and a coyote head. On the top, it has another coyote head. But, he has some different ones, like the one he made for Dave (DAA) which has a much larger coyote head on the far end. These adorments are made of some indestructable alloy of Chromium cobalt, the same thing he uses for the dentures he turns out in his Dental Lab. Attractive stuff, I doubt if another hunter could pass it by, without wanting to handle it; it's something everybody wants, as soon as they see it. (I worry about scratches)
I called in my first coyote with it last weekend, and damn if he didn't come in barking and scolding all the way! A nice double, to start the morning, and the new season. Don't get any better, right? A little rusty, perhaps? Both of them hit a little too far back Stone dead, though. Must be gettin' old?
Good hunting. LB

Vic, those are coyote's head and cape above an Aztec sunburst. Larger head and cape on the other side. The howlers I'm making now are shorter and the top side has a howling coyote head cast to the horn that covers about 1/2 the surface. Same head and different sunburst on the underside.

Leonard, You posted while I was typing and I missed it. Your first was a double? My goodness, that means you're going to have to take a triple with the new howler I'm making for you. The new style with a better tone. I'll save it for our video hunt.

Richard, I just saw your photos of your calls. I really like the new style. Is the black one has too much figure for ebony. What wood is that. Gorgeous.
