I recieved a open reed howler from "Timbertoes". Easy to use and the craftsmanship is unbelieveable. Like so many of the custom call makers that write and visit on this board, this guy takes pride in his work. I put it to ggod use on Saturday bringing in a large male. The howler sounds like a younger yote and this large male was ready for the fight when he worked his way in towards me.
Thanks again Bryan for the howler!

I have a few of Bryan's calls , just ordered another of his new "curly" closed reed calls he just finished. If your looking for a great deal on custom made hand calls , Bryan does super nice work and is awesome to deal with.

sure am glad it worked out well for you
You know I never intended the open reed calls to be howlers...they just turned out that way. Between carryng a TTebbe howler, a Sly Dog Howler, and one of my calls, I can definatly do a "serenade" !!
some of the calls have even been able to do a decent Deer grunt, if blown softly with full reed.
