A couple questions come to mind, like will Borlands become "consultants" retiring to the Bahammas, do I now own a Studebaker, does all R&D cease, have working capital problems evaporated, and who's on first, or who answers the phone and will it be answered by anyone other than spokesperson and roving ambassador, Scott F?

I spoke with Steve a while ago and he told me I could give some more information concerning the partnership of these 2 companies.
First off, Minaska sold no ownership to any other company. They are still Minaska Outdoors and are planning on staying that way for a long time.
Flambeau Outdoors will now be taking over production, marketing, sales, distribution, and custom service of the 4 main callers Minaska Outdoors has previously developed. Some of the more in depth customer service will still be handled by the Minaska crew.
This move will allow the guys at Minaska to devote their time exclusively to research and development of new products and expand their sound library and increase the quality of their existing sound library.
The Minaska Outdoors website along with the Minaska Owners Forum will remain online and active.
That cleared up a lot I hope.

Sounds like the Borlands made a boat load of money and can now go hunting a lot more while "researching and developing."
If they come up with new sounds for my bandit, I'll be happy. Will Flambeau honor the existing 5 year warranty already in place?
