I have not received mine yet. Just hope they are better than our other E-Callers.

I recieved another "Sportsman Guide" on sale magazine the other day. On page 23. upper L-hand corner.
There is a little remote-rig called "Predator" made by {Kodiack}. Operational range is 150'. Cost is $27.00, not to shabby if it works decent, IMO.
It says it has the following sound's coyote greeting, pup distress, cottintail distress, Jackrabbit distress, & fawn distress. Looks to be a little larger set-up than Lohmans little rig. Iten # FX5X-93569

2dogs, For the money i would say the Johnny Stewart preymaster is a cheap way to go if you don't mind running a wire out to the speaker..My son has one and it gives good results here in pa..Works great in the thickets and timber.Price is $139.95..comes with a speaker which does well, but Find a 15 watt 8 ohm speaker to hook up to it and it is one fantastic sounding call.

Melvin,
Yep, see them. What I'm wantin in the near future is a remote wireless set-up. That'll carry out to 3-500yrds with out stringing wire. -------------- I haven't been hand-callin to long. Coyotes in my area, are pretty hard to call in. I've gone probably close to 50X to-date now. Only managed to call out a hand-full. All but one hung-up around the 200yrd line & keep moving circling. Popped at all of'em, only tagged 3 on the fly.
Kinda funny, many years ago. Before I even heard of "lip-squeeking" I stalked in on a Red. Couldn't get any closer than about 250yrds(crusty snow).
I was useing a 30" 12ga w/4Buck. Then it just occured to me...SQUEEEeeeek, He sat up. I let out another, he came running right at me. I'm laying prone in the snow, wearing white head-to-ankle camo including my gun.
He hit a deep draw 100yrds out between us. He dropped out of sight. Then then circled my down wind, never see him again. [ May 20, 2005, 08:12 PM: Message edited by: 2dogs ]

Just checked it out(wildlife technologies)$849.95
Absolutely the best transmitter in the industry. This transmitter has a range of 1 mile line of sight. This means you can expect to have a minimum of 400 yards remote control range under less than ideal conditions.
Top of the line unit, from what i read.Don't know if it performs better than some of the cheaper models tho.(call critters any better?)

Wish I had the dough to buy a top quality e-caller, maybe someday. But thats not in my fore-seeable future.
Tried out my "PREDATR" call from Cdog911, the other day on a couple of sets, but no-takers. {Lance Homman}, makes a beautiful little hand-tuned,rabbit squaller. It definately reaches out there, & sounds VERY realistic.
I've heard & seen a few cottintail rabbits , caught by house cats close-up. His call sounds exactly like them.

Also I recently bought a custom made, little antler distress, from Tony Tebbe. As well as a wood custom call, from Tommy Johnson. They both are BEAUTIFUL! little calls, with EXCELLENT squall sounds.
