chris' coyotes
I was inspired to do another coyote amalgam by Mr. Cronk. I hadn't played with my music editing software in a while and this is what I came up with. I cannot make a realistic bark to save my life! [ July 18, 2007, 07:40 PM: Message edited by: smithers ]

Thanks Mr. Cronk. The one I made that was similar to this last year was too punchy, so this time I toned it down some. I used a couple different calls on this one as well. I am interested to hear what it is that you were working on. Unless it is classified! [ July 18, 2007, 07:55 PM: Message edited by: smithers ]

smithers, As you know, I spend a lot of time making new calling sounds. Everyone has their favorites, and I have a certain love for prey distress duets. I recently made a few new pup distress recordings, and I have made two new pup distress duets. I have one new pup distress and a rabbit duet being tested in Arizona at this time.

Mr. Cronk, I should try to come up with some interesting or out of the norm sound combos having to do with prey distress. I have not done that yet. I love to mess with sounds like you and the C Edit, as you know, allows you to really tweak things. Have fun!

Some of you enjoy using the diaphragm calls and so do I. Here is my version of a JackRabbit using a double reed diaphragm. CSdiaphragm Jack
