I shot my first coyote yesterday with this load and even though it wasn't hit in the kill area, it keep him down. What is the best choke to use for a 31/2" SBE? I also had one misfire and heard a PSSST which cost me the 2nd coyote.

Welcome to the New Huntmasters, Mert. Glad to have you on board.
Too bad on that missfire. That's very odd. If the primer is contaminated, they just go "click". Maybe the problem is in your firing pin, or maybe the shell got soaked in water, at some time? Sometimes they will fire if you try it again, might be loose in the chamber, like a headspace problem?
Good hunting. LB

I couldn't find the spent shotgun shell, but I do know I heard a definite Psst when I pulled the trigger and no bang. The gun is new and so were the shells at $2.30 each. I also gave the coyote another chance. I can't complain to much because I killed 3 other coyotes at this same location.
