i fond were i can get a 243 single shot with a 3-10 simmons scope for $249 i was wondering if it would be a good buy for coyote and deer or not i just thoght it would be a good gun for my lil bro for deer so i was gonna buy it but i wanna know if it would be a good yote gun?

Don't know what type of single shot you have in mind, but as to the caliber, yeah, a 243Win. is a good coyote cartridge. If you are hunting fur, there are probably better choices, but a 243 will do a lot of things, small game to deer.
