foxhunter, rimfire scopes are parallax free at 50 yards. Are you going to be doing the majority of your shooting at that range?

Good question, but it seems like cheap Simmons scopes get more favorable reviews than cheap Bushnells?
Good luck with your choice. LB

Ive been a fan of the Simmons "Whitetail Expedition" for a while now. Not sure if they fall into the "cheap" category? out of Natchez they are right at a hundred dollar bill? Inow have three of these scopes mounted on my 19 Calhoon, CZ 22 hornet and one on my 17 HMR. Really good glass, with the european ocular focus ring. Clear, big, bold crosshairs int eh duplex, I can't find any holes in them?
