Has anyone heard of a Winchester rifle scope? I baught one off P.M. I mounted it last night but have not had a chance to sight it in, would like to know what to expect from it. It is a 4-12-44.

The Winchester brand has degraded, since 1964. Nowadays, it seems that everything with that name is imported, usually from China, but who knows? With cheap scopes they are the exception to the rule; that you get what you pay for. Cheap optics usually aren't worth what you pay for them, but, in your case, I hope I'm wrong?
