SteveM , PM Moderator, made a trip to west Texas and was able to spend a couple of days-nights calling with me. Krusty had sent me a new call and I really wanted to try it out. First set out comes the "K" calls, in comes this big dog and bang goes my 223. Biggest dog I've killed in a long time. We have a couple of dry runs then I break out the Tally Ho. I call in a cat but he hangs up just on the edge of my red light beam. I try a shot but he's a safe cat,,,, for now. Try another spot or two but nada. I then set up where I've seen bunches of big cat sign. Steve is in the chair while I'm workin the call. He spots two sets of eyes coming in slow. I finally see a big cat come out of the brush towards the road. His CZ 17 Rem makes short work on this big tom.
