It appears the darkside is down? I hope the problem is not the same as Huntmasters had on June 5th? (the perl deal) We wish them a speedy recovery.

No, but it will take a bit to get back online - I'm just doing an upgrade, and import to a real database.
Unfortunatly, I had to turn off the board to do it since I'm modifing the main cgi files, once I'm done that - I can import it again into mysql and php.
PIA, but, I let it go to long between upgrades so I'm stepping up all at once. Next will be that old klunky web site at CG.com!
Thanks for the well wishes.

Catskin,
Like some of the other boards, do I have to be a registered member to surf the forums, or to use the search function?
I can open the main list page, and each of the forums, but cannot access any of the topics.
I use Firefox browser, but it won't work using Internet Explorer either.

I see what you are talking about, K. Looks like a problem that was not there yesterday?

It's the new style script causing the problem, if you change the skin to another it will work.
Right now you have to be regged to use the search but I'm going to change that I think, the new search is so freakin fast compaired to the old one that it doesn't matter.

Okay, it worked for me in a sort of gray and aqua, not exactly the darkside! ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

LOL The boss is leaning away from the dark look I guess! With this board users can choose any style they wish once they sign up, I can even do special requests.
DJ try again - I have the bug narrowed down, it *should* work now. It's tough going live without any testing!
