Took the wife and kids to a Christina concert last night. It wasn't the 700 Club!
Toby Mac, Zoe girl, Newsboys, New Song and Hawk Nelson all at one time. Wowzers! Had a great time and heard some really good music. Was the first time for both the kids to go to a concert since we don't have that many around, and most of the ones we do, I won't let them go to. I even got a really big kick out of Toby Mac. He sings church music, but it's reggae/ rap music. You know it's loud when you're on concrete and the bass line is moving the floor beneath you.
Well worth the $10 admission fee, plus the offering.

I've heard of them all, and first heard about this concert in December while working deer capes in the shop. Been planning on springing it on them ever since.
I listen to them all and my son was very surprised to discover that nearly all of them have music on the area top-40 stations. Zoe Girl, New Song and Newsboys are really good listening.

My oldest daughter(15) listens to all those groups & we`ve also had the opportunity to go to a few concerts like that, lots of fun & I greatly approve of that music considering the alternatives like Snoop Dog & some of the other crap I hear kids listening to.
Ask your kids if they know who the group A.T.O.(after the order) is, they`re a local group that play some christian music on top 40 stations, very good band & I happen to be fairly good friends with those kids as they lived just down the road a ways, if your kids want, I may be able to score some ATO garb for them, signed shirts, posters & the like. Then again they may not know of them, just let me know & I`ll see what I can do.
And yes,we are getting old, at least I am, I used to love loud music now I have to have it loud just to hear it at all.

One of my wife's friends has a daughter that is married to some big deal Christian rock group member. I think the name is Journey? I never heard of them then, or since.
