I took the boys out today and worked them on some birds. Cowboy did very well and Blue did'nt do to badd for his first time.  -  -

Those are nice looking hounds 17.I've had Shorthairs most of my life,don't have any now,sure miss having one after seeing those pictures.
It's tough to explain to the average joe what it's like to hunt behind a Shorthair, or any gun dog for that matter.What an expierence it is to team up with a well trained gun dog as a hunting partner.Their ability to scent birds in various conditions is really something.....For me,it rolls right into calling Coyotes.I've been throughly schooled on the ability of a canines nose.Good hunting

Man I love those GSP's. I need to get mine out for a stroll. Stinking snakes are moving so bad here I hate to take him out. My breeder just sent an E, new pup will be born around Oct. 1st.
Ben will finally get a new buddy.
