Nice buck, Sage. And kudos to dad for making you wear the muffs. Hopefully, you won't be running around your later years going, "Huh?" like us old farts.

Those are the Walkers muffs that Sage is wearing. I really like them. I have been wearing them myself all through gun season. I can actually talk to a hunter while he's getting ready to shoot and not worry about getting my plugs back in in time. I had a hunter today shooting a 300RUM necked down to .270 with a weed burner on the end that would knock your hat off. I was glad to have the muffs! Not many details Nasa. We waited on those bucks to feed to us forever. Even had a coyote within a 100 yards for a while and Sage had a tough time not shooting the coyote. But I left the choice to him and he chose to wait on the deer. I probably would have shot the coyote personally! The deer got to us right at dark and we sorted them out and he shot the right one.

Was the deer on your place, or did you have to drive to find him?
