For me, hunting was secondary at this event. I was more interested in getting to know the folks I talk to on here on practically a daily basis. Those that werent there were sorely missed.
However, I was blessed with a mornings calling with Rich and Major. Rich said we were going to work some call shy coyotes and probably wouldnt get the numbers. Thats fine with me. I was more than happy to listen to Rich and Major call and talk. That was an experience most can only hope to have. I can kill coyotes anytime. I really appreciated that. I was no doubt outclassed by these two, but I did get the opportunity to listen to those two talk to each other and to coyotes. That meant alot. Both are great men.
The next two days, I had an absolute blast. I had the pleasure of hunting with Tyler Higgins and Locohead. If these two had half as much fun as I did, they were doing very well. They are both great hunters and alot of fun to be with. Tyler has listened to dad very well and is a master with his calls and vocalizations at his tender age. I was more than impressed and very happy to learn from him as well about vocalizations. I actually got lucky and called a couple of coyotes with my style of calling and I think maybe he liked that as well? Rich should be proud of that boy.
Loco is one fine fella too. Hes a devoted family man that should be commended for that. Hes also a great hunter and very pleasant to be around and talk with. I would be honored to hunt with this pair anytime.

Andy, the pleassure was all mine!!! You are right indeed. man, what a bunch of phenominal people there this weekend. Hujnting with Tyler and yourself was a wonderfully fun day that I will remember for many years. You guys were cursed with the same horrible sense of humor as me! What a great day!!!
It was soooo cool as you put it, "It took everyone to kill that coyote so no one went home feeling bad. That was awesome. Thank the good Lord that Tyler missed that stationary coyote atleast once at about 5 yards away so that I could claim atleast one of the 3 bullet holes! ![[Wink]](wink.gif)
I hope we can hunt again this winter Andy and Mandy!
