If this doesn't convince you to never drink a Miller product again, nothing will. Welcome to the lovely state of California sponsered by Miller Brewing Company.

Are you saying that businesses should only be allowed to advertise at events that meet up to your moral standards?
Who made you God? And what gives you the right to decide what is right or wrong? Maybe the Catholic League needs to spend their time reading their own Bible? I could have sworn that there was a verse in there saying "Judge not, lest ye be judged"?
As much as I hate to admit it, I've got to agree with Nancy Pelosi on this one.
In just a couple of days, I'll be bringing a big green cooler full of Miller High Life to the campout again this year. Feel free to boycott my cooler, while Freemen, able to think for themselves, can enjoy a free cold beer!

Tim, a business can advertise with whoever, whenever, or whatever they want. I am the first to defend an individuals or an institutions freedoms.
I also agree with you on the Catholic Church, but again that is an individual freedom and opinion that is decided by each one of us.
Heck, I'll even agree with you that the "champagne of beers" is the best, despite what Leonard says.
I would disagree with you on how the "judgement" verse that is used in my bible is interpeted by most. Nobody appointed me God, but it is written that this type of behavior is sinful, and that is what I use to determine right and wrong. It is also something I don't believe should be allowed on a public street.
So, I will boycott Miller from now on, because that is my right. If I were able to attend the campout, I would have a cooler of who know's what else, because I have to find something I like as much as High Life. And I would gladly offer one to anyone else including those who wish to drink Miller.

Tim, maybe you didn't read the entire article. This was more than just a homo parade. In fact, it was more than a homo parade with nude homo's. It was a homo parade with nude homo's giving each other BJ's. In the street. In front of children! That doesn't hold up to my moral standards, either.
(edit) I may not agree with their sponsorship standards, but I still like their beer! [ October 08, 2007, 03:36 PM: Message edited by: NASA ]

NASA,
I read the article, it looked like a lot of the same stuff you find in Old Bisbee.
That doesn't hold up to my standards either, but I think that it is the parent's of those children who should be held accountable, not one of the advertisers.
I bet if someone actually contacted the CHQ of Miller and asked if they knew that they were sponsoring an event where oral sex was being preformed in the street in front of young children, they would be shocked.
I don't have a problem with them, or anyone else wanting to hold a nude parade, as long as it is advertised that way so that parents not wanting their children to be exposed to such things, can keep them away.
What I do have a problem with, is having someone else tell me how I should be living my life. Too many needle dicked liberals who would rather screw up everyone else's life, than to work on improving their own sorry existence.
Living in Colorado, I'm sure that you can understand!

Yep, that pretty much sums up the political environment here in CO.

All Americans will see the decline of decency in our country. "They can't help how they feel" is the liberal mind set concerning queers. The Serial killers can't help the way THEY feel either, but that doesn't make it right for them to go around killing people does it?

Since the early days of America people have been boycotting products. From the Stamp Act to the Boston Tea Party. It is a principal America has been built on.
I will support anyone's right to boycott any thing they want. Even if I don't agree with their reasons.
As for me, I don't purchase Miller anyway. But, I would never turn down a FREE cold beer, for the best beer is FREE beer.
