Once in a while the blind hog gets a god acorn as the saying goes. Well I just drew an Az 12B(AZ strip) late season deer hunt. Last year 2292 hunters applied for this hunt as their first or second choice. This year they had 75 permits available for this area at this time of year. Assuming the same hunters applied this year that makes the odds of pulling this tag at 3 percent. Boy am I excited.

Thanks Okanagan. I only put in for really good hunts. The wife doesn't like the meat so I'm basically a rack and coyote hunter. Hunting coyotes is what I do when I don't get drawn for a good big game hunt. BTW: it has been approximately 10 years since my last successfull draw.

WOOOOO HOOOOO!!!! You sound about as happy I did about 7 years ago when I drew a Rocky Mountain Bighorn tag. Start hiking trails now to get in shape!!!

Nice pull...we used to go up that way (12A actually) every year for the OTC acrhery. Good luck with it...
