I read in today's paper that an animal protection group is blaming lead deer slugs for lead poisoning in eagles around here. Shotguns with slugs are used for most legal gun season deer hunting in Iowa. These so called "animal protection" fools are already suggesting that perhaps all lead bullets be outlawed in Iowa. Bummer! ![[Mad]](mad.gif)

It does no good to accommodate these idiots. Lead is a natural occuring element, you cannot get rid of it. This is another big lie, just like GLOBAL WARMING. First they claimed that a couple California Condors died from lead poisoning from eating squirrels and rabbits that had lead shot in their body. Nobody even tried to prove it, but they mandated a lead ammunition ban for the entire Sespe wilderness area. The next year, they thought it should be expanded, and the damned ammunition companies fell all over themselves providing lead free ammo.
With no data to back them up, now the alarm is sounded as far from the California coast as Iowa? Never waste a good crisis. And, the citizens of Iowa will try to make them happy, instead of treating them like crackpots with an agenda.
People can be so stupid!
Good hunting. LB

I hope you guys give them hell. I sure don't want them trying to do that in the other 48. The sportsmen need to ban together and fight those moonbats. Good Luck

IA asks for this sort of thing every time they go to the polls and vote predominantly Democrat, IMO. No offense to conservative Iowans, but this sort of thing is far more prevalent in liberal circles and if you play with snakes, you're bound to get bit.

Sea Dog, Yeh, we have more than our share of idiots here, but I sure didn't vote for that anti-American Muslim that was elected as President. Puke Obama! I will never vote for a Democrap.

The Center for Biological Diversity (CBD) is based in Tucson. They specialize in bringing forth lawsuits on a national level that further their radical agenda which is to take public lands away from public use. They always make these claims in court without any scientific study. However, the lawsuit forces the Government into a position to do a study concerning the CBD claim on our dime. If anyone has an idea on how to shut them down, I'm all ears.
