![-](http://img27.photobucket.com/albums/v81/varmit1/rhog.jpg) I have been after this Hog since January. He rooted up the runway at the local airport so bad one of the holes flipped plane, They wonted him dead so bad. They had me set up my two story shooting trailer 400 yards from the runway.( Our version of homeland security).
Since I have been laid up the past three weeks. They put out a trap. Took two weeks to get him in the trap.
He was 6' long , Not counting the tail. Stood 44" high. Head is 24" long. Tusk 3 1/2" long. Custemated weight 550 lbs.

That's a BIG boar! Looks like he might have a little Russian in him? Exactly how did he end up dead?

Congratulations Ronnie. Got your roto-tiller finally. I don't know if it's Russian but it sure has European in him. Glad to see you up and chasing again.

Good un Ronnie. That's one hell of a hog. That's what we call around here a "piney wood rooter".

Ya know... I just gotta comment on something here, while I'm thinking about it.
Ronnie, you could have posted this pic and told us all how you killed it with hevishot buckshot and a mad choke and called it in with one of those lil diaphragms that leave an round impression in your wallet and we probably all would have believed it.
But you didn't. And because of you simply telling us the real story, this is one very MAJOR reason among many others, why I look up to you and regard you as one of my greatest Teachers... plain and simple... honesty and integrity!
