I showed the scope I fell on to several people at the camp out. First outing, too. A lot of dings, zero moved over 12" at 75 yards, I had to use channel locks to get the scope caps off.
Well, I have not been getting around since we got back, but I did manage to box it up with a note and mailed it on December 27.
Got it back today, Jan. 10, the internals were very messed up, according to the worksheet, but now all is well except for one ding on the front bell.
I have owned a lot of Leupolds, over the years, this is only the second time I have sent them a problem. I think that is good service, especially since they advised me of receipt and told me they were shut down between Christmas and New Years!
