Four firefighters have died!
I have a house just a block from hwy243 in Banning, which they have closed, due to the fire. They keep saying Cabazon and "north" of Palm Springs, but it could come my way, you never know with these Santa Anas?
I will be closely monitoring this one. LB

The news is now saying that 4 firefighters have been killed in the blaze, and that it was started by arson.
I hope they catch and skin the person responsible for setting it!

My son sent me this pic from his cell phone, taken from his driveway. I just got home from dinner, I need to call him, as this was sent a couple hours ago. LB

My daughter's fiance has been on that fire since yesterday. Dalton Hotshots were deployed there immediately.

Leonard,I drove past the fire today at 4 this afternoon down the 10,it's burning South away from Banning,due to the Santa Ana's.....Hope all is well.
