Welcome to the New Huntmasters, tooslow. Glad to have you on board.

Actually, this guy really IS a blast from the past!

Pat and I have spent many hours hunting most of the western United States, since he was an 18 year old minor, and I had to get a note from his mom to take him on Club Hunts.

He showed up yesterday morning after having breakfast with another mutual friend, and first learned about Nancy's passing. It was quite a surprise, and we did some serious catching up.

I could tell stories about our little adventures all day long. Some, our members might have heard before, since we old farts seem to want to repeat our escapades over and over again. (they tell me?)

I can tell you this much, the guy is one of those rare hunting partners you will know, in a lifetime, and I was very fortunate to hunt with him so many years. I never wondered if I could have done something better than he, no second guesses, complete confidence in his actions. Of course, it also helped that he seldom missed an animal.

Welcome to the New Huntmasters, Pat. You honor us with your presence.
(how's that for an introduction?)

Good hunting. LB

LB--your way to generous in your assesmant of my ability's, as our main goal of winning a state hunt was never achieved.

We put out plenty of effort and cemented many fond memories and experiences that will never be forgotten.

Winners in our own minds.

Pat

Welcome tooslow, I've heard about you from Leonard.
You must have been his best hunting partner because he speaks of you very highly.
