Killed a female this morning whose mouth had this white growth under it's entire lips and gums, looked like a mouthful of pea gravel, otherwise healthy, nice coat and weight.I'm sure I did her a favor.Ever see anything like this before?

I thought it was Professor Higgins who posted photos like that a couple of years ago?

Leonard,
Gerry Blair posted a real good photo like that in Trapper magazine a long time ago. I think he called those mouth growth's "warts". Ugly thing, no matter what you call em. [Smile]

If you call the coyotes in close, you won't NEED a high dollar range finder.

Ive seen something that sounds like that on cattle. Clusters of warts. We had to pull them off, makes you sick to see it, and put spray on there to keep the flys off and antibiotics to keep the infection down. Just clusters of warts all over the mouth and neck.

Sick.

It's "oral papillamatosis", caused by a virus, and although it looks nasty it isn't fatal.
