How's the weather where you're at? Kansas' has been incredible. Regular rains and temps consistently at 20-25 degrees below normal for most of the last month have made for comfortable days and the kind of cool eveings that have found us sitting on the deck enjoying the crickets and quiet more than any year in memory.

Just looked at the forecast and tomorrow will be a high of 77 (usually around 90-92) with the rest of the week never getting above 68 degrees, with lows in the low 50's to high 40's. Absolutely unheard of. If this pattern continues, I suspect we'll see an early first frost and possibly more snow than usual, this year. Fur prices suck, but the year could be a fun one.

Mid 80's to low 90's here. Getting cool at night (60's), had to start closing the bedroom door again.

Closing the bedroom door has other implications. I thought you two love birds were empty nesters now?

Good hunting. LB

Here the sky is rent asunder from lightning bolts cast by angry gods over the direction our country has taken while tears fall in the form of rain, a sign of the fustration of lesser dieties over our madness.

Other than that, it's all sunshine & lollipops.

It was a balmy 37 here this AM with frost. The geese are heading south and the leaves are turning very quickly now. MI VHNTR
