Who is this guy and why is he trying to be my pen pal?
Seriously. First, he writes to tell me that Huntmasters is a bunch of bullies. BULLIES, mind you!
Then, he writes and complains about some PM hunt that he was disinvited to, after attending. What? Maybe in Wyoming?
I get a certain amount of crank mail, but this guy has me curious.

He seems like a nice enough guy. He used to post over at PM a lot (I don't know if he still does). He had some family problems, which I remember he vented about over there.
I don't know why he would try to be friendly with you out of the blue. Maybe he is having problems at PM?

Okay, thanks. At least he is a "real" person, as opposed to some of these guys that hide behind a fake name and an untraceable email account.
His motivation is unclear to me?

I know Casey...
Not sure what is going on but I have known him for many years and never had any problems with him at all. I think a lot of fellas from PM have become more and more disenchanted.

Well then, aside from his negative opinion of our membership, why would he bother me with his PM problems? I can't do anything for him, not even hold his hand.
If he's okay, he should be a little more candid. I don't know what his purpose might be?

Can someone tell me? Who on this site has been bullied? Are we refering to that fucking asshole TA or did I miss a bunch of bullying? Seriously. who are these people who have time to piss and moan about bullying but dont have time to for a little due diligence in these matters? Grow a set or shut the fuck up! Of course I mean that in the nicest way possible.

Dont know em, but have seen him around the forums. I believe he does live in Wyoming. Dont know why he would be pullin your chain LB. Then again, I have recieved lots of emails complaining about Huntmasters, wanting to shut it down etc, signed by guys I know did not write them, so it may be bogus?
The last one I got was an email wanting me to partcipate in a boycott of HM untill TA was banished. Anyone else get that one?

Good luck convincing management to shut down Huntmasters because somebody picks on Tim Anderson. Personally, i think he did not deserve all he got, but on the other hand, i don't visit other boards, so i'm not all that informed, as to his transgressions, real or imagined.
The problem, if it is a problem, is with policy here, which is no supervision, moderating, editing and deleting content. I will not use my tools to modify posts by members. I will jump in and actively engage those involved in arguing when I think it is getting out of hand, but all I use is my own words to counter what the meanies write. I recognize that for some individuals, that might be judged inadequate.
I "thought" Tim had a pretty thick skin, or I probably should have jumped to his defense a little sooner, because I don't like the bully culture any more than anyone else. However, I don't accept the charge, that our members are any more cruel than other sites. We don't allow the private message feature, which is where other sites allow bullying, but it's a dirty little secret. At least what we have is above board, so the hue and cry to shut us down over a couple instances is all they have, and it ain't much, considering volume etc.
So, it's my fault for treating these people like adults. I listen to all complaints and do what I can to please the most unreasonable and insecure among us. Believe it or not, complaints are very rare. So, a certain type of person instead writes, (anonymously yet) to Lone Howl about supposed injustices. I really don't get it?
All I know is I think very highly of our membership, they are the best of the best, as far as I'm concerned.

This is getting interesting.
I have information that Cal really did, although it was a long time ago.
I also got another message from Middleton and he now says that he likes Huntmasters. Apparently, he's reading along, with everybody else. He also filled me in a little bit on his PM problems.
But, then again, I got another email telling me that our members could be/might be unsympathetic....which I highly doubt.
I'm still not sure where I fit in, here?

Its funny how you remember certain individuals from over at pm. I don't remember him as being particularly caustic in demeaner, but more or less remember him as being one of the PC Rodney King types! You know, the kind that stands behind the skirts of the mods and asks 'why can't we all just get along????". This could explain his 'horror' at seeing how things are handled here. I also think I remember what 3Toes is talking about. It involved some claims made on the internet where the validity was questioned.
Anyway, there is your dissenting opinion Lb. Its up to cmiddleton now.

Now, I've heard from another anonymous emailer who claims to be a pal of middleton, offering insight and a link to something at PM? Maybe I will go there to get all knowed up as to what transpired in 2004?
But, as I said previously, he did apologize for the remark about Huntmaster bullies.

CMiddleton,the name rings a bell with me as well.Now I could very well be full of shit on this but I think the guy used to live here in vegas. But has moved to Wyoming.And it seams to me that the guy was a lever puller out of local 12 here in Vegas. And I also think he knew a local caller here in vegas (Henderson Nevada) with the handle Crap shoot.And he used to post over on PM.
So if any of you guys that know this man is any of this stuff right or am I mixed up?
I guess PM's not that bad of a site,but the turn off for me was that they were a little to PC for me.And the other thing was all those fucking Fox Pro leg humpers would just piss me off to no end.I mean I know that Fox Pro has a good product,But I still went with the other brand.
