I reckon, you are right... but I bet we will hear lots of stories, soon...

Bet there'll be lots of pictures too.

I'm sure they'll do their best to make us feel better about not making it. [Roll Eyes] [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

Yeah, guess everybody that is anybody important is in Silver City, today?

Oh well, it's supposed to be bigger and better next year. It pays to plan AHEA d.

I have been doing some household chores, little stuff. Not hardly like jawing with fellow predator hunters.

Yeah, they better post some pics for all us "shut ins" .....and Alaskans.

Acording to all the Board chatter about Jack Daniels and various high dollar Tequilas, they will (about now) be very ernestly engaged in a game of "Can You Top This", until passing out in the parking lot.

Yeah, sounds like fun, huh?

Good hunting. LB

Hey LB, I thought you were goin'? [Confused]

Careful, LH. Leonard's probably on a wireless linkup via laptop to see if we're talkin' 'bout the rest of them while they're gone. Not that anyone here would do that. But, BTW, while they're out on their little adventure, anybody we want to talk about??? [Smile] [Smile] [Smile]

I'm here with you guys too.I would have liked to have went, and maybe I will next year. But for this year I already had too many trips and activities planned. It would be great to get to put some faces with names and meet alot of the people off of the board.

First, while I seldom check the dark side, in this case, my wife did; and she says that JH is all bummed out because his invite got lost in the mail. I'm guessing there are quite a few disappointed 'lil buckaroos, that were hoping to get their picture took with one of the giants of the.........er; a giant. Too bad, all the way around.

(hope his legendary good humor is still intact?)

Good hunting. LB

edit: Cal, you are exactly right! I have been to a few of these things, and it seems always worthwhile. And, hardly anyone fits the mental image you had, previously. You would definitely enjoy yourself. Jawin' with others, possessed of the "Fever", is my idea of a good time.

Yeah, wish I could have made that shin-dig. Would have been great to meet some of those fellas. Just wasn't going to work for me though. Hopefully there will be another.

Although if I'd heard god was going to go, I would have made a point to see that blanket party. LOL! [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

Someday I'll make it to one of these gatherings. I, obviously among others, don't pray to that paritular god, but this expo is definately something I would've like to have gone to.

Maybe next year's expo, the PM hunt, SOMETHING, will land on my week off. Dosen't make it any easier parked under the nose of Canada when the majority live in the southwest.

We could try to get them to move it to UT or CO's western range to make it more centrally located and maybe call it the National BUBBA Summit Hunt. I'll even pay for the stamp for god's "invite". [Smile]
