Author Topic: Okay, I'm back Leonard HMFIC Member # 2 posted November 27, 2005 10:23 PM                       We left Wednesday morning and I plum forgot to mention it, on line. Our daughter and her husband and the two girls rented a four bedroom house in South Lake Tahoe, CA. Was perfect. It snowed, hot tub on the back deck, sat TV, ice skating (found that I'm a bit rusty in that department) and son-in-law did a fine turkey on Thursday, we didn't lack for anything; good restaurants, brisk walks, very cold nights at that elevation. In short, had a very good time, 9 hours up, 8½ coming back tonight. Saw the Big Pines Tule elk herd right off 395, must have been somewhere close to 200? Waited at a signal at Kramer Junction for about thirty minutes, which shot my MPH average all to hell. Good hunting. LB -------------------- EL BEE Knows It All and Done It All. Don't piss me off!
