Ralph Lermayer, editor of Predator Xtreme, has donated two issues of the magazine to each and every participant at the campout. He has also donated 10 one year subscriptions for Predator Xtreme for prizes to be awarded as we please.
Very generous.
Ralph can't make it to the campout because he will be hunting that weekend however he will have staff writer Bob Robb attend. Just treat him as one of us. Being on your best behavior is NOT encouraged. [Smile]
I've spoken with Ralph several times and am impressed with his dedication to making his magazine the finest in the field. I like the plans he has to acheive that goal and I hope all predator callers will support him and his staff.
Thank you for your generosity, Ralph.

I used to subscribe to it but felt it went downhill (to much buy this it's the best) so I didn't renew. Then a few months ago I started getting it in the mail courtesy of Allpredatorcalls.com and I think it's getting better. (Of course I may be beginning to understand that everything is part of a marketing scheme)

Even got to read and enjoy a few articles from a couple of guys here. So when they stop sending them to me I will probably buy the magazine or just buy a few more calls. Dang, there's that marketing thing again.

Same here Tom. I subscribed once quite some time ago, and really was not impressed by the magazine at all. But I too have been getting the complimentary issues from AllPredatorCalls.com lately, and it really does look like the magazine has improved by leaps and bounds. Good on 'em!

Same here Dave and Tom. I subscribed before the name change and again after . It was an attractive well produced colorful glossy product catalog with an occassional calling article.
Ralph has made it into something useful. Not surprising because he is a hunting fanatic and a dedicated caller. Besides how can you not like and support someone who prints "Hunt hard, kill clean and make no apologies!" throughout his magazine. [Smile]

Jay has also been sending me issues of Predator Extreme. More than likely I'll keep up the subscription. Thanks a bunch Jay.

To bad he cant make it down to the campout!

I will say that things seem to be going well over at PX. I have seen alot of changes with what they have been putting out and I like them.

I see things going well for them!

It's better, but still lacking. And the name needs changed if they are going to continue to put more articles on varmint hunting than predator hunting. The last issue had articles on jackrabbits, ground hogs, prairie dogs, woodchucks, and single shot varmint rifles.

I've been with the Predator Xtreme magazine for a long time. In my opinion, Ralph Lermayer has done a fine job with the magazine. I recently signed on for another three years. A friend of mine recently told me about Mr. Rich Higgins. I didn't know about him before that. When my last Predator magazine showed up, I noticed an article with Mr. Higgins in it. Then my Trapper and Predator Caller magazine shows up and he's in that also! This guy must be a mover and a shaker. Freddie

Welcome to the New Huntmasters, Freddie. Glad to have you on board.

Yes, Higgins is pretty good for a Pampass know it all, but couldn't carry water for Team Hammerdog. (just kidding)

Okay, you have access to the campout forum, #952.

Good hunting. LB

Predator Xtreme is getting better, no argument there. I think they need a good caller who is also a writer. Remember the interesting calling articles that Gerry Blair used to write for Trapper&Predator caller? Reading Gerry's stories made the magazine worth it's weight in gold almost.
