If anyone is interested I have a new in box, never mounted, matte finish, VXII 4x12 with A.O.. It has the fine duplex crosshair. Cabelas lists it for 399.00. I'll sell this one for 375 and I'll pay shipping. Has all paperwork and is brand new with original box. [ March 19, 2007, 04:29 PM: Message edited by: Cal Taylor ]

OK Boys, it's going Dutch auction till it's sold. It is posted here and JH's and that is all. Whenever I check in, probably daily the price will go down $10 until sold. Today... $340

Brad,
That's the bid I've been thinking of offering.
I can't believe how Cal would keep telling everyone what a POS scope that Leupold makes, then try to sell off his junk for so much.
Cal,
I'll go $55, but just because I like you.

OK, let me change my bid to $45!
Edit: When cat prices dropped, I thought you might be needing the extra money, That's why I bid so high to buy your junk scope! [ March 19, 2007, 08:08 PM: Message edited by: Tim Behle ]

Shit Tim,
I need to start following this auction more closely. I'll go to $40 American dollars.

Brad Norman, with your money, you should be bidding $400, not $40!

Yeah, because he charge$ you twice what other client$ pay, (you know it, too) and you don't even bat an eye. Aren't you always telling him; "Gee wiz, Cal; are you sure that's enough"?
You got the coin, Brad. Admit it. ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Wish somebody would make a reasonable offer? Are we going to let this scope go to the dark side? It makes a decent squirrel scope, if a little large for a walk out rifle?
Just kidding you, Brad. LB

I know you are Leonard. I just found it amusing that I was the one getting cussed up one side and down the other when Cal had to watch coyotes lope away because his Leupold failed him and I had "taken" his Burris.
I'm watching this auction closely. My offer still stands.

March 31, some lucky member could walk away with a new Leupold for $220. That can't be right, can it?
Good hunting. LB

Good Grief Leonard! Do you think that there are so few Leupold fans that it would go that far? Oh well, if it does then we will know the true value of Leupold. And by the way, in case anyone was curious, this is not a rebuild or anything. The scope that went tits up is no longer made or repaired so they sent this one. It was the closest model to the one that crashed and thats what I got. Brand new-never mounted. [ March 20, 2007, 07:58 PM: Message edited by: Cal Taylor ]

You guys and your imaginations. I actually bought a donkey to bring me back across the border. The ride lasted more than two minutes...although I did ride her again the next morning.
I left the crabs in Mexico. I have better luck with them in Louisiana.
Edited to say, "Damn, when do I get to become a Senor, Administrator or Pakman on this SOB?" [ March 23, 2007, 10:04 PM: Message edited by: Brad Norman ]
